stumped on selling and vendor booth bank telling

August Blog Post
Hear my latest updates on online selling and come with me on my journey of booth decorating!
So, if you haven't gathered by now, these blog posts come out in the first week of the month to talk about last month's dealings and this month's goals. I like that format. In July, I got a lot of business work done. I've been putting advertisements out where I can. Got some flyers done as of today (Aug. 4) and I will be sending them out on advertising days on facebook.
My goals for August are to complete my Amazon/Walmart wishlist I've been building to decorate my booth, and to put together a flyer for local vendors and attempt to make a group for resale vendors only. If I get enough interest in it, I may make a facebook group and try to figure out somewhere to hold an event in the fall. I was inspired by a small business group I joined recently, the Space City Babes.
The heat is so intense nobody is able to go out and do summer booths, so for me personally I am limited to the winter through spring time. I was lucky enough to strike a deal with my workplace so I'm set when it comes to needing a spot.
I tried making a whatnot account but the AI used to verify kept running into problems, so I had to cancel my first live show and it locked me from my account! I was quite irritated to find that out. I plan to try to use TikTok shop at some point but still working out the verification kinks on that one. So for now I'm just focusing on my tasks at hand. See below for some closing notes:
August Goals:
 • Make a flyer for a resale group
  • Depending on interest, make said resale group
  • Finish wishlist
Community news:
  • Highlight: stay away from The Enchanted Cottage, it sounds like they have been known to scam vendors out of hundreds.
