Autumn Lantern Display

And just like that folks, summer is done and autumn is starting up before the temperatures are even dropping! Lots of folks are working out this year's halloween costume -- myself included. But even though Halloween is my second-favorite holiday, I'm already gearing up for my all-time favorite: Christmas!

Now, as someone who's entire job is to sell things to people, this may not come as a shock. However, for me Christmas is more than just spending money to buy the coolest gift. I want to use my small business to bring community together. I want to collaborate with other small groups and businesses, I want to build a genuine name for myself within my community. The world kind of sucks right now, and I'd love to be a little spot in town where you can just forget about all of that and enjoy some old fashioned community fun. I'm actually considering a collaboration already -- more on that at a later date, though.

Time for my monthly goal reflection, and then the community news!

The holidays are coming, the holidays are coming!!

Goal Reflection Sept. - Oct.

Unfortunately, I did not get all of my September goals finished. However, the only one I failed to complete, I can afford to push later as I did part of it.

Instead of making a video of me pricing things, I've decided I'll do a video of preparing for my next vendor event. I know the place I'll be at, I just need to figure out what event I'll be going to. Don't worry, you'll all be informed.

As for my October goals, I'm going to be hand-drawing and scanning some pages to advertise things on my Facebook page. I'm also working on thinking of things I can do to spice up my display without breaking the bank. That online wishlist was merely a guide, but I'll execute what I need somehow. Again, I'll keep you all posted. All in all, no real strict goals. Just keep things cruising.

Community News!

I officially have a newsletter prepared! If you're signed up on my mailing list you should have received that on October 1st. If you didn't, check your spam box!

My main spot for vendor events will be Garcia's Auto Detailing in Alvin, Texas on Sealy street. Again, no specific appearance planned yet but when I do have one, it will be there.

Get geared up, businesses! The holidays are upon us. We must prepare for mega sales -- I recommend checking out Uline for supplies you may need. (Note: it is mostly meant for larger retail stores, quantity-wise.)
